Windflame Luminaries
The earliest candles used by man were simple. They were made of animal fat or suet with a pith of rushes serving as the wick. In 1830 paraffin for candles was distilled from petroleum. Paraffin is a white and odorless substance that burns readily and cleanly. It is the main ingredient of windflame luminaries. Windflame luminaries are candles that stay lighted even when placed outdoors. Garden Candles are a good example. There are no glass globes, screens nor shades to protect the open flame from rain, wind or snow, yet windflame luminaries burn openly. Displayed as garden décor during the day or as a source of warm and subdued lighting in the night, windflame luminaries are a great addition to anybody’s garden or patio.
The candle holders and stakes made of sturdy metal are very decorative and stylish for your patio or deck. The candle wax itself is available in various colors. Placed on the front doorsteps, they are a delight for welcoming visitors at night. Windflame luminaries are available scented, or natural and odorless. Scented windflame luminaries are preferable along pathways and walkways where they will complement the fragrance rising from the fresh flowers in your garden or the grass growing in your lawn. Look from the inside of the house into the shimmering open candle flames outside: The scene at night becomes even more enchanting. These outdoor candles are made to burn in any type of season. April showers and summer drizzles, autumn wind and winter snow, the open candle flame keeps on burning. It can withstand winds of up to 30 miles an hour. Windflame luminaries are environmentally friendly too. The paraffin wax and wooden candle wick are not harmful, and the metal tin containers are completely recyclable. The Postmaster also features highly and richly scented candles for indoor use. |
